Our daughter just started in the infant room at Step by Step Chaska this week. It’s a tough transition as a parent, but they have done a nice job communicating with us and making us feel comfortable. I visited 3 times before she started, so I had plenty of opportunities to meet the teachers, see the facility, and ask questions!

There was a recent transition for a primary teacher and the school did a good job of sharing it in advance and our chilld has done well with the transition that would seem to indicate a good plan is in place when this happens. In addition, the output we receive from the new teacher is valuable as usual. Based on the detail she provides we know she knows our child.very well.

Our children absolutely love Step by Step Montessori! We love how intentional their programming is structured, how it is such a warm and positive environment, and how much attention is placed on self-esteem and independence building. We are new to the school but seeing how all the staff know each kids name and are close with the families is such a great environment. The first day my son attended school, I went to pick him up and he was sad! He wanted to stay because he was having a such a great time!

Step by Step Montessori has been the best choice for our family as far as an early learning environment for our children. We've had three kids come through (and still there!), all three with unique learning styles that have been met and challenged in a way that complements what we strive to teach at home. My oldest transitioned out of SBS and started Kindergarten already reading, in large part to the teachers fostering his love of sounding out words and making reading a game and fun for him to keep trying at. My youngest, while still in the toddler room, was singing all sorts of songs and identifying colors and sounds, and is my kid who truly knows "every thing has it's place" and shows us this at home, too! We can't thank SBS enough for being the best place for our family to learn and grow!

I love that the staff is part of my morning routine. The energy in the building is always positive and caring, both for myself and my children. My kids have grown and learned so much at school.
